A Prayer from St. Francis of Assisi

I came across this prayer from St. Francis of Assisi today from someone within the organization I work for. It’s amazing to work with those that are like minded and have a passion for the hurting. May this stir you for the ONE that completes all of these things to the fullest.

Where there is hatred, let me bring love;
where there is injury, let me bring forgiveness;
where there is discord, let me bring harmony;
where there is doubt, let me bring faith;
where there is error, let me bring truth;
where there is despair, let me bring hope;
where there is sadness, let me bring joy;
where there is darkness, let me bring light;

Lord, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled, as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love.

For it is in giving
that we receive.
It is in forgiving
that we are forgiven.
