I listened to Timothy Keller’s sermon “How to Change” this morning before work by suggestion of a co-worker. He said something at the end that I want to be my prayer as I approach and begin a new year. I am a child of God that needs Grace from the Father to change and mold into the likeness of Christ. I want Jesus to be real to me; so real that I want Him more than anything else.
“O Lord be real to me. That’s my whole problem. I don’t need new circumstances. I don’t need new information. I need the truth about Jesus Christ to be so real to me that my desires for these good things become manageable and as a result all the fruit begins to grow.” -Tim Keller (might as well have been Ashley Marble)
